BLS CPR Instructor Refresher

Course Description
The AHA BLS Instructor Renewal course evaluates the methods of instruction needed to effectively conduct resuscitation courses. In order to attend this course, instructors must have current AHA BLS Instructor status and meet the instructor renewal criteria as outlined in the AHA Program Administration Manual. If you are not affiliated with the WITC Training Center/AEG Training Site, please provide approval from your current Training Center to attend this course.

 

Expired instructors may need to take the eight (8) hour instructor class.

Intended Audience
Current American Heart Association CPR instructors that a required to renew their certification.  All instructors must be alligned with a training center and approval of said training center to attend this course.

Student Materials: American Heart Association BLS Instructor Manual.

Written/Skills Evaluation: Required for completion card.

  1. Current AHA BLS Instructor Certificate
  2. Score of 84% or higher on the BLS Instructor Exam.
  3. Complete the Instructor Update in class
